Love in the fall

Contributed by corpsman2000 on Thursday, 17th December 2009 @ 08:17:06 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Fall is here
Its easy to see
The smell of the air
The changing of leaves

Maybe its just a season
Or its the bringing of love
My heart is singing
She is all I think of

A time for walks,
Holding each other close
Or sitting in the leaves
Warming her with my coat

Romantic nights with my girl
One of falls simple desires
Sipping hot chocolate
While sitting by the fire

Maybe a night in the city
With a horse drawn sleigh ride
Down snowy main street
The two of us, all worries aside

A romantic walk
Children playing in the snow
Down a snow covered street
Groups singing Christmas odes

The colors of the lights
Hung on everyones home
Doesnt compare to the way
Her shining eyes bring me home

So many things to do
So many memories to make
Now its all possible
On our holiday breaks
