Secret Plea

Contributed by ChaosFactor on Monday, 28th December 2009 @ 07:20:42 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Tear-stained hearts in blood-stained hands,
Crying out through hidden letters to ignorant friends.
Please just listen as I try to say
Why I have become this way.
I need to leave; I can't deny it's true,
But things are just too good to finally leave you.
Yet these long nights must come to an end
With the arrival of an enemy (dash) friend.
Please forgive me as I beg you once more:
I'm not strong enough, just send me out that door.
This is killing me; how can no one see
That loving you will be the death of me?
I wish the sentiments were things I could show,
Instead of just crying without letting you know.
Yet it's impossible for me to see
A world with a you without me.
I can't imagine what life would be like
If you had never been by my side.
"I'll always be there"- it's a promise, you swear.
But really it's just more words waiting for me to tear.
My heart is breaking; I'm too far gone.
I'm sure you've known that all along.
So now I beg God for just two more days
Before she comes and takes you away.
I can make one promise; this I can swear:
I'll never forget you, no I wouldn't dare.
