My Pets

Contributed by vickil84 on Monday, 28th December 2009 @ 07:36:25 AM in AEST
Topic: PetPoems

I always loved my animals,
My different kind of pets,
Hamsters rolling in their balls,
And visits to the vets.
But out of all the pets I've had,
There's always one that's best,
Always one more challenging,
To put your patience to the test.
You see cats, rabbits, birds and fish,
Are all such fun to keep,
Frogs that jump and snakes that hiss,
Are also pretty neat.
But when it comes to my best one,
It's always been the same,
Although all pets are all such fun,
They can't beat a canine!
My dogs are so amusing,
They always make me laugh,
When chasing balls and catching rings,
And scraping on their arse!
They're always there to listen,
And try to lick my face,
They chew their toys to pieces, then,
Leave bits all over the place.
So yea my dogs are smelly,
And always need a walk,
They sit and watch the telly,
And bark to try to talk.
I love my trusty canines,
I know they're always there,
They truly are best friends of mine,
Even when they shed their hair!!
