Same nightmare just a brand new day
I have my own and still they want me to take theirs
Trying to please everybody and barely keeping up
In an attempt to catch up, no one ever appreciate
They have less love for a brother
And more hate because I am from the gutter
But hey, there is no worry because I live this life day by day
I am at the bottom of things and their only hope for me is to fade away
Well if I care, it just wont be today, I am here to stay
They should know better there is no going under because I am flying over
Dont believe me, keep your head up, look up then see
What was done yesterday can sure be done today or a couple years later
They want the world and everything that comes with it
Unfortunately for them I have no such weight on my shoulders
No sir, I do have bad days but nothing I cant handle
Because you see I am fortunate and able
So thank God for this life because I am glad and thankful.
