The day we met
was like fireworks
on the forth of July
I wasn't sure if you
felt it but I did and
couldn't explain why.
you made me laugh
as if you've know me
for years you made
me feel good when
I shed my tears.
you where my strength
when I had none...
so can you blame me
since I thought you
were the one?
but I see now who
you truly are but
deep down inside
I still see you as
my shining star
and because of
this I am losing
you by the things
I say and the
things I do
but please know
that even as
best friends we
should never part
and that the only one
at fault is my love
struck heart.
