My love-less heart
the product of the battlefield
A soldier of love I was
journeying for freedom in bliss
through overwhelming heartbreak
alongside rivers of deception.
My heart hungered
for the taste of fantasy,
Those sweet lies lovers told
of mystical treasures of devotion,
The make believe memories
of mystical pleasures and emotion.
I now rise again
battle ready to grasp onto dreams,
it's my sole reason to fight.
I walk alone on this battle of mine
waiting for love to come
to escape this bleak moment in time.
