Grandama Della

Contributed by FoNzO on Sunday, 3rd January 2010 @ 01:31:00 AM in AEST
Topic: goodbyepoetry

My whole world fell to pieces,
the day god called your name.
In life I loved you dearly,
in Death I do the same.
It broke my heart to lose you,
Cause you did not go alone.
For part of me died with you,
That day God called you home.
I'll cherish every memory,
Our bond could never die.
Although I cannot see you,
I know your at my side.
A piece of my hearts broken,
Yet never seems to mend.
So i'll live this life with half my heart,
Until we meet again.

It's hard to imagine a life without, and yet somehow we move forward and get past the pain. This beautiful tribute is a good step. It's fabulous that you had such a wonderful relationship with your grandmother. You were lucky to have had that and her. And she, you. :) Take care .
