Wanting it to go back
to the start,
wanting it to be
the old way again.
Wanting my tears
to stop falling,
wanting the confusion
to disappear.
Wanting the sadness
of our hearts
and eyes,
to fade away.
Wanting the arguing
and pain
to end,
and never return.
Wanting the innocence
and absolute fun
of our love,
to find its way
back to us.
It'll take work,
but the result
will be worth it.
