Pale glow of the city lights
Illuminate the skeleton trees
Standing lost beside themselves
Moaning songs of spring.
And somber is the night
Between the sighs of sirens howl
The lone rail riding train resounds.
No moon to guide the night in travel
The pines softly to Heaven bow.
And somber is the night
No rain drops the night to serenade
Soft dew droplets hiding in the air
The shadows mourn in quiet thirst
In winters hide and seek game.
And somber is the night
