Alone he kneels
In prayer for peace...
His pressured life
Needs much release
With too much pride
He'd never tell....,
At thought of failure
Teardrops swell
With so much love
And care to give
To simply breathe....
His wish to live
One day he'll wake
To better things
But, for the now....
Life really stings
