Don't Leave Me

Take me now,
In my purest form,
Before the world has done its damage.
Nothing between us now,
Take me to the heavens.
The wetness on my face,
Enticing my senses.
I feel it slowing now,
Wait, don't leave me.
Take me with you, I want to roll with you.
The clouds have passed me now,
The world is still around me.
I've been left behind,
Left for this world, and all the pain.
The sun breaks out from behind the clouds,
And begins a new adventure.
