I'm the one who knows all your fears
And able to admit you can be wrong
Even when you think you're right, dear,
I know you like no one else in the world
I'm the one who really understands you
And follows you at the end of the world
If you come with me, of course,
Because I do belong with you.

I know I do not wear a halo
But I could try it on if you wanna
I make my mistakes, but who doesn't?
I guess I ain't perfect but I love you
I told you this a million times
Though I'm not angel, I wear no halo,
And don't tryna put you on the pedestal,
I just wanna love you the way you are.

You're playin' around with my heart
Got me feeling ashamed of this love,
But I know and I did from the start
I won't ever give you up, to no one,
You might say I'm some kinda fool
If my heart is having set on you,
But I've never been so quitter,
Especially if I'm wearing a halo.

I know I do not wear a halo
