Lifepoems

Time moves swiftly, Like grains of sand through my hands; I cannot catch it, nor can I contain it--- All I can do is watch it fall away.
Glimpses of life already lived, Of days spent in perpetual motion, Of hours spent thinking of you, Of time irretrievable from Death itself---- For he collects youth, beauty, and wild ill gotten dreams--- Like love-lost-then reclaimed.
Time. It moves swiftly. Like a leaf on the wind, it is careless; Almost in arms length, but never caught--- Always lost.
How do we equate Time? Even as I grow old I cannot find its rhyme or reason.
She moves swiftly enough, Like sand through our hands--- Yet, we cannot keep pace with her dancing; For her movements are ever changing---- All we can do is appreciate the music, Then watch it (and ourselves) fall away.
