As winds coursing through meadow veins
A crying spirit's tears like a waterfall begin to pour
The mist upon the breeze brings back memories of a happier place
As tears that fall create never fading stains
A saddened spirit's regret upon eagle's wings does soar
The stars that once shown upon two lovers; for a broken heart still shine but lead at a different pace
As ripples upon a dead calm
A searching spirit's longing for a love since past
The angel's voice ringing in it's ears, mind, and soul
As smooth as the snow white sand upon an empty beach
A wandering spirit's lonely heart cannot sleep
The angel's caress forever embedded under it's skin
As Death comes calling everlasting peace finally is within reach
A wanting spirit's grasp takes Death's hand forever it's soul to keep
The time has come the angel waits no more, the spirit has returned within

There's such a feeling of tranquility displayed by your words. Great imagery showing hurt and the anguish of once having love and then not. Well written.
