As I sat and thought,
What my life would be like..
With out you there,
With you so far away,
A distant friend.
As I sit and think about years past,
All the conversations,
The messages,
The gentle smiles that warm your heart,
The tender hugs that speak magic words,
That only we can hear.
If I today was to lose you,
You my special friend,
I would loss a piece of me,
As you are part of my heart,
Like the sand on a beach,
is washed away with the sea,
I to would loss a part of my heart,
To you my friend as you disappear, like the rolling sea,
Back to where you belong
Maybe I should or maybe should not,
feel as I do,
For you are not mine
But oh a part of me will always be yours
Somethings are for another time
Another place

| This is beautifully expressed you are speaking from the heart and relaying the pain of the fear of losing a close friend.All the thoughts and processes that surround that realising that they are free to go if they want to..... for you are not mine.... but at the same time how devestated you would be if they did go.read this quite a few times before commenting and like it more and more. |
