Sunshine on my shoulders,
and love that fills my heart.
a man that really loves me,
a brand new day to start.
There are cartoons on the TV,
clothes hanging on the line.
just one more cup of coffee.
and I will be just fine.
I have bacon in a frying pan,
and pancakes on the grill.
just give me an hour,
and I'll have time to kill.
Baby's getting sleepy,
it is time to take a nap.
daddy sure loves mommy,
and she gives him a slap.
Washing supper dishes,
and putting things away.
I am left with the thought,
tomorrow's a brand new day.
Now my day has come and gone,
and everyone's in bed.
I just savor the moment,
and then I clear my head.....
