Through my eyes I see perfect skin Perfect hair and an intoxicating smile I have not seen someone like you in a while But you are everything I think I want Someone like you will never be alone There's someone always waiting for you I close my eyes, smile, and see you in my home Hold me the way I want to be held Sit with me at dinner and get lost in my eyes I deserve someone like you I know though, I'm not good enough Deep down I know this and it's hurtfull and rough Still I wish you were mine A quick glance A quick moment that's chance Is all that this will ever be In five minutes you wont remember me But I will remember you for all eternity.

It's a painful thing, the feeling of inadequacy. And it paralyzes us unapologetically. Anyone who is good, deserves all the happiness this world has to offer. Your words are sad but relative. I'm not sure I know a single person who hasn't felt the way you describe here, at least once in their existence. Overcoming that can be a difficult challenge. Our own fears can overwhelm us so dramatically, that we don't realize how wonderful we truly are. Very thought provoking write.
