what if the roundabout went the opposite way round
if the television went quieter when turned up
or you walked forwards but never seemed to get anywhere
maybe you shout out to them but no one hears
or maybe just maybe your heart is bleeding but I still cant feel your soul
you can see but im in the darkness
youre deaf but you hear others
you touch my heart but yours is still beating
you leave me unspoken yet your words remain silent
youre taste leaves me filled with emptiness
how about it changes
and your heart cries while i carry on beating
my soul is half full, yours half empty
or how about i move on while the puddle you create gradually floods
until you sooner or later drown in the sorrows your idiot mind created
my life will erase you from the back door, sooner or later.
