THE FIRST DAY WE MET
IT FELT LIKE LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
I KNOW WE HAD OUR ARGUMENTS
AND I KNOW WE'VE HAD OUR FIGHTS
I KNOW WE STUCK TOGETHER
AND SOMETIMES WE FELL APART
BUT I DIDN'T LET THAT GET TO ANYBODY'S HEART
IT FELT LIKE I COULD DIE
BUT I JUST HELD ON TO MY PRIDE
AND WATCHED YOU GO
I WONDER IF ANYBODY WILL EVER KNOW
JUST REMEMBER US AT OUR BEST
AND FORGET ABOUT THE REST
AND NO MATTER HOW I TRY
YOU'LL ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY
BECAUSE YOUR GONE
I'LL PROMISE YOU ONE THING
I'M ALWAYS GONNA HOLD ON
