EVERY MAN

When you are young
You have no fears
Life's about fun and thrills
There are no tears
You realise
As you get older
And you look at your loved ones
When every man around you is being gunned down
You pray you won't die young

When you give your all
And you serve with pride
When you fight for Queen and country
To their rules you abide
You lost your friends
But still you have hope
Then you think about your loved ones
When every man around you is being gunned down
You pray you won't die young

Another grave
Another prayer
And still nothing has been resolved
This war seems so unfair
Tears from the families
They ask 'Why him?'
Then you think about your loved ones
When every man around you is being gunned down
You won't die young
