THE BRIDGE OF TIME

Memories distant from up there
The water's cold down below
Is this your way to make the headlines?
Or is this your cry for help?
You thought you'd make a difference but that's not the case
You thought you could do things people could not
You think rejection is failure
When in fact it should only make us strong

Don't look down
Hold on tight
You're standing on the bridge of time
You're at the road of no return
You feel there's no escape
You must believe in you

Never any answers for your questions
Never a penny for your thoughts
If no-one listens to the living
What makes you think they'll hear the dead?

It's down to you what you choose
But this life's too good to lose
You back away, turn around
You were lost, now you're found

Don't worry now
You're in safe hands
You're no longer on the bridge of time
You've come through the tunnel of darkness
You've finally seen the light
You must believe in you
And believe in me
