I sit sipping coffee
On a train to New York City
And I noticed a girl
Long legs, very pretty

Ther she sat
Sitting and Thinking

I wonder what she's thinking
Is my seat too low?
Maybe she's a model
Going to a show

~

I notice a young man
A well dressed lad
A smile on his face
Shows he's glad

There he sat
Sitting and Thinking

Maybe he's a lottorey winner
Who just got paid
Or a savvy Harvard man
Going to get laid

~

Meanwhile I sit
Looking and drinking
Letting my mind loose
By Sitting and Thinking
