I hear my heart beatin' in the emptiness,
I see the people goin' to nowhere
And I know I might be the one of them
But I don't wanna be forgotten
I feel the sounds vanishin'
And how imperceptibly time flies by
I wish I could just catch the moment
And feel the fire burnin' in my blood.
Can you feel this?
Can you feel my heart beats out my chest?
I can hear it, but I don't feel alive
And I wish you could save me
Cos I feel salvation in your breath
And fire burnin' strong in my blood
But it doesn't make me feel alive.
I feel life goes out within,
But I need a little time
To linger here, hangin' the life
And see the things I've never seen.
I wanna do somethin' to make me feel alive
Wanna find out what it feels like
To walking on a wire
Instead of feelin' cold fire in my blood.
Can you feel this?
Can you feel my heart beats out my chest?
I can hear it, but I don't feel alive
And I wish you could save me
Cos I feel salvation in your breath
And fire burnin' strong in my blood
But it doesn't make me feel alive.
Time goes by, we both know this,
And we need somethin' to change
But this won't save me, won't help me
To pick up the pieces of my broken faith.
I stop feeling anything
Time goes by so fast,
Leavin' the shadows of the past,
But no reason to keep on livin'
I feel the fire in my blood,
But I don't feel it's warm, no, no,
I don't feel alive, just like I'm dead
But I hear my heart keeps beatin'
In the emptiness...
Time goes by...
