YOU'VE RUN OUT OF TIME

Is it just me?
Or are you looking well?
I know your heart bleeds
But still no-one could tell
Things have been tough
But still your smile glows
Only your closest friends
Are the ones that really know
You're feeling guilty
But you've committed no crime
You're like everyone else
You've run out of time

You've run out of time
But you're not to blame
It happens to all of us
We're all the same
There's no other choice
So drink up your wine
You can't go back now
You've run out of time

Seeing the sun setting in the sky
You know the end is nigh
When the day turns into the night
You know you won't see the light

You've had all your fun
You've done your last dance
Because in this life
There's no second chance
Your words seem final
You've sang your last song
For you it's so right
For me it seems so wrong

You've run out of time
Now here come the tears
There's no use in crying
It won't bring you back the years
You wave goodbye
You wish your life was mine
Take one last look around
Because you've run out of time
