Do you remember long ago
When everything in life was fine
I was a friend of yours
And you were a friend of mine
But life has changed
We don't speak to each other
From one year to the next

I still treasure
All the fun moments that we had
I believe
In remembering the good times not the bad
But life's moved on
We don't see each other
From one year to the next

It's been the best part of ten years
Since you went away
All the tears I cried
Were for yesterday
And though it hurt
The days and months and years
Have gone by just the same

For one moment I thought
We were again a team
Then I woke up in my bed
And realised it's just a dream
Let's move on now
With no regrets
Until our paths meet again

You were a true friend to me
I always thought that's how it would be
Ever since you have been gone
The pain has healed
As time's moved on
