She looks up at me
with questions in her eyes
I can only wonder and wonder
whos twisted my daughters mind
As I grab for her
Im reminded yet again
that Im her only daddy
and until my life shall end
Shes been lied to
and tried to be convinced
thats theres another me
whos tried to be me but cant
But she dont believe them
for only what shes been shown
Its my daddy mom, I tell you,
the one that paid the most
Ive stuck it out with you
and heard all of your bads
I even believed he didnt love me
which made me really sad
But now that I know
whos really in my life,
this doesnt matter anymore
and daddy, you were right
