Driving slowly, following you Dreading the arrival Because thats the day I dreaded my whole life The day I thought about when I was younger whilst I tried to sleep I used to cry about because I was terrified of losing you I never thought the day would come so soon The day I had to let go and accept it Getting closer, until were here Tears fall down my face People outside standing in a line of pain Staring at me, the look of sympathy drowning their faces They had no idea of the pain I felt I had no idea, I didnt know what this feeling was Four strangers carry you in Everyone follows behind Your favourite songs playing in the background The taste of tears as they trickled slowly down my cheeks I just wanted it to be over But it went so slow I just wanted her to shut up I didnt want reminding of what was happening I just wanted to say goodbye and go home But I knew whatever I did nothing would change it I didnt want to accept it But I just sat there, my heart shattering into a thousand pieces I just left them, I couldnt pick them up because youve left me So theyll always be missing You broke it. Because nothing in the world will let me see you again Youve been cruelly snatched away from me Even though I knew it was going to happen I pushed it to the back of my head thinking it was ok Thinking it wasnt going to happen Even though that was impossible My life has never been the same I just want you I need you But, I suppose thats life, were born, we live
We die.
