WHEN YOU LOOK ME IN THE EYES

You say you're happy now
But that can not be so
Because you stand all alone
You can't tell the truth, only bitter lies
When you look me in the eyes

You keep it all inside
All the hurt and pain
Because you stand all alone
But all the hate you feel you cannot disguise
When you look me in the eyes

Will you leave the past
Just let it be
Because you stand all alone
I wish your head was as clear as the blue, blue skies
When you look me in the eyes

I can't imagine what you must feel
I know you will never forget
But I'm sure you might be surprised
When you look me in the eyes

Broken promises
Cloud your fragile mind
Because you stand all alone
Was today the day when a part of you dies?
When you look me in the eyes

You've had a troubled life
But you've become so sad
Because you stand all alone
There's no time left to say your goodbyes
When you look me in the eyes
