My lover and

When two souls devote to eachother,
they belong to them and only eachother.
But what if I had devoted my soul
to another, and was a hallow shell
until my lover now gave me his soul
after I took mine back and gave mine to him?

What if my former love still pounds,
like an unforgettable beat of a song.
Then what if, that beat starts playing again
stronger than ever before and
this time I will not be able to
hold it back. What if I will secretly,
away from the others, dance to the beat
by myself?

Will my soul become corrupted?
And will he whom holds it now
throw mine back to me, broken?
And break my heart in two as I give his back?
Or will he tell me to get rid of the
other beat in my heart?

If he leaves my heart will break as
he is my glue, what he doesn't
know though, is that my former love
helped create that glue, part of the ingredient
and is needed just as much.
That is why to keep my heart whole,
and my sould unbroken,
I need my Lover and "that" Love.
