You pushed me to my limits
You played your wicked game
Took everything I ever loved
Seek to kill, destroy and mame
Whatever it was I did to you
I could not apologise
Eventually I could take no more
The tears formed crustations in my eyes
You were my inner demon
The evil of mankind
Deceptive, cunning and powerful
Truly one of a kind
Yet deep down within me
Lay an emotion unaware
A part of me I did not know existed
Something I never knew was there
I called upon this inner strength
As my last resort
Never had I hurt so much
Never harder had I fought
Now your no longer part of me
Yet I feel that your so very near
Waiting for another soul
To paralyse in fear
