The purpose of Living

Topic: InspirationalPoems

The purpose of life.

If you read this you were born
in this world for a reason..
*
Or so it is said.
But what reason could you
have been born for?
*
There are billions of people
living today
then why? Why more?
*
Why were -you- needed
of all those people?
*
People claim they were brought
into this world to save
other's to kill.
Some to love
others to hate.
*
But what is my reason?
Mine is like yours,
yours is like mine
and everyone elses.
*
We are equal in a way
where we all have the same reason
to why we're here today.
*
That reason is simple just think
If death is the end then there
has to be a beginning, that's birth.
*
Why were we born?
Why do we die?
*
Think carefully now and you know
the answer you seek.
*
The answer is you.
The answer is Life

If not understood be people I am just trying to say that I'm trying to get the message through that the meaning of living is life. We were given life to live and we live for life. Hope i portrayed it well and made sense =]

I don't want you to take this in the wrong way, i was just wondering if English was your first language or not.

and about the poem, i couldn't get into the flow and found myself rereading lines, i think that perhaps you have too many stanzas?? Or it could just be me, i don't know. in any case i think i understand the message you were trying to impart but mostly due to the note at the end of the poem. don't worry though its probably just me.

Good luck in the future :D

You made perfect sense in philosophising about life, it's good to see someone else writing in this way, searching and challenging thought and our response to understanding the concepts of life a little better, keep writing
