The Sweetest Girl I Ever Met

Contributed by Rykor on Saturday, 13th March 2010 @ 01:32:38 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My eyes were young,
And my heart was pure,
But what has happened to me now,
There is no cure.

She was so beautiful,
And she was so sweet.
She was the most amazing girl
I ever had the chance to meet.

I loved her,
And she loved me.
It was so wonderful.
We were as happy as can be.

Her family was cruel,
And her family was mean.
She lived in a city of criminals
As far as the eye could have seen.

I think I see now,
And I understand why
She left so quickly
Without a goodbye.

Perhaps it was her ex boyfriend,
And perhaps it was her dad.
Whatever the reason might be,
It caused her to be so sad.

She is out there somewhere,
And she is out there alone.
Oh, if only once more
I could hear her voice over the phone.

So as I write this while crying,
And as I write this while upset,
Please pray for this girl,
The sweetest girl I have ever met.
