This is what I have become. Look down upon it as I scavenge for my shattered memories. Just remember Im still that guy I just had everything taken away from me.
Always thinking of what could have been. Desperately holding on to you was my sin. I cant see your eyes cause its just your voice. For some reason your tone makes my cheeks moist. Remember when we were so young? All those great memories that couldve become. I didnt know it was a hint for a kiss. Looking stupid is what I was trying not to risk. Then what happened the next forever scars my brain For it was when I learned I was moving away.
Thrown into the city where faces pierce hearts All they tell you is forward you must march. In these troubled times the family turn on me. What once was four is now happily three. Never wanted you, is the words they sing Now Im forced to pack my stuff, what do I bring? Slowly learning that Im not welcome anywhere But life isnt always supposed to be fair. Eyes burning into my mind Telling me that they just want to leave me behind. I was never supposed to be apart of there life. As these thoughts course through my head I look at the knife. Instead of ending the pain, I tried to change. Making things better, instead of so deranged. But these feelings continue, even though Im on my own All thats changed is that now Im alone. Times get rough and this state throws me down. Now Im back in there mind of burden, as I slowly drown. All these things course through my vains Yet there no one around to talk to, no one to soothe this pain So I come back to these thoughts of you A dream from the past that I still knew My feelings for you have stayed pure and true. But you have a new love, so these thoughts of me are through. So I stand here alone, not knowing what to do.
