deep and dark sorrow
fellow of the night
has something i must borrow
that something is light
a light to lift my soul
to help me see clearly
make me feel whole
to help me love dearly
fellow of the night
lend me your hand
make the light shine bright
lead me to the direction of something grand
help me open my eyes
help me open my mind
show me all the lies
and the truth that falls behind
show me who i am
show me what i could be
help me strange man
tell me what you see
all i do is hurt
what is wrong with me?
fellow i feel like dirt
i feel like a nobody
what am i good at?
what do i live for?
i feel useless and fat
fellow please help me im all yours
if you show me the way
i will take it from there
to give myself a brighter day
i just want life to be fair
