1. Snows soft, snows light. Nothing is so white. Oaks are a bit weird. Winter wonders are here.
2. Snows fallen at last. Nasty days went past. Outdoors-the-great glows. Winds make comforting blows.
3. Snows on the trees. Nobody sees Owls, white ghosts. Ah! What magic silence! Hush!
4. Something has whispered. Snow. Nothing is moving. Snow. Ox-eyes are ringing. Snow. Whiteness is reigning. Snow.
5. Some snow, some frost, some sun, Nativity-Christmas, Gods son, Orient patterns in blue, black and white, Watch-Night Services on the last night.
6. So, winter has begun. Now real snows come. Ouzel, bullfinches are like beads, Which are sparkling in the beams.
7. Sometimes I hear strange things that mean Neither snow nor frost touches me. Oddball! Get out and touch them yourself! What do you feel? I know what youll tell!
8. Sure its the best season. Neat snow clothes are worn. Oh, find at least one reason Why I should think Im wrong.
9. Sing to the fairy winter wood. Nod, just nod the talking trees. Open your soul to their mood. Wander in the thoughtful fields.
10. Snows glistening in the sun. Nacre laces are on green firs. Obey an impulse: cry, jump and run. What a moment to immerse!
