A Tear Stained Memory

As I gaze into your eyes
I see the devotion within you
Through your eyes I can see your soul
Our hearts are throbbing
Almost so much they might explode
I pull myself back to reality
And I am filled with a desire to hold your hand
once again like old times
And walk around for a while
Just you and I
We could walk back to that apartment
And fall asleep on that floor again
Not noticing the discomfort
Just lay and gaze into eachothers eyes
Through your eyes I could see your soul
