I don't worry about tomorrow, because I'm living it today.
The world continues to turn, yet I remain still. Same ol' ailment, and same ol' pill. Same routine, with the same ol' goals. Same concerns, and same ol' woes.
Same destinations through the course of my day. And the same ol' scenery along the way. Same people, with the same ol' talk. Upon the same path, with the same ol' walk.
Same ol' problems, with the same resolve. Same limitations, the same ol' walls. Same crumbling society feeds my dismay. Same ol' predators, and same ol' prey.
Same low, and same ol' crest. Still striving, with my same ol' best. Same ol' sunrise, and same sunset. Yes, the same ol' end.
Guess I'll rest my head now, and prepare to do it all over again.
I don't worry about tomorrow, because I'm living it today.

Definitely created the feel of tedium of normality but an acceptance of living life rather than worrying about it, liked the feel and the flow of this poem |

i tend to think of things in the long term, but this reminded me of the importance of the short term, since one can't predict his/her own future. your poem got me thinking... well done
take care
