It's never what we want
when we want
or who we want
We are never what they want
when they want
or who they want
How can it ever work
with so many never's
so many not's
and list's of wrongs
Love is flawed
With no rules to follow
one day your happy
With all your wrongs
Then you start to realize
The truth of love
We think of them
And they of another
You try to stay away
but it hunts you down
just to prove to you
There will never be another
