The Bard and the Scribe
Nary a rogue or vagabond A rascal or thief But a master narrator Needing no consultation With parchment or leaf Audiences spellbound With tonal variations Transporting through the use of words To lands so serene
Then turns to the scribe Your quill pen was poised Yet no movement was seen What is your problem? I shudder to think Well! The paper is white And so is the ink The bard then spoke As quick as a wink Twas the governments Own rule book That you wrote I think.
