No running away, no hiding,
No asking more than I could bear,
Now that I'm standing in the middle,
In the darkness...
With the little candle in my hand,
These shades around me, they giggle
At the way I cannot find my way back,
To my home.
They're waiting in the silence,
Just like the spooky spiders,
They wanna grab my soul, oh...
But I am alive,
As long as the candle lights,
And I'm not blind,
Though I got wrapped up
In the black coat of the night.
I won't give my life up
As long as the candle lights.
No waiting, I'm running along,
Unaware where I am running to,
I feel the wire touches my neck and,
I cannot breathe no more...
But it won't be enough to take over my soul,
Cos I'm gonna die another day...
Cause I am alive,
As long as the candle lights,
And I'm not blind,
Though I got wrapped up
In the black coat of the night.

The little fire getting to be gone,
But its last sparks are showing me
The way back home,
