Trapped in a life of sorrow
Bound by the ropes of tears
Muscles dull from stillness
Paralytic and helpless here
My left eye slowly flickers
To blink out these darn words
Overly pensive mind
A sound wont leave my mouth
A life of love and laughter
Now left behind in a stroke
Compassion has decayed,
Apart from that of myself
Tomorrow, the same drag
Open my eye to the hell
Powerless and impotent
Let me go from this world, to me a long black hole.
