THANK YOU

Topic: LostLove

It seems that I had known you
Forever more
You were like no-one else I've met
Since or before
I can't believe you left before I said 'Goodbye'

When I didn't know what to say
When I could not find my way
When I needed a helping hand
You were there everyday

It's one of my biggest regrets
I feel I've been unkind
By not saying what I should have
Is making me lose my mind

I'm thanking you
For all you've done
Even though I know
You are now gone
But I feel I must
Thank you

When I froze in the moment
Full of fear
When that day it all went wrong
And I cried those tears
Somehow you were there for me

When I took all of the blame
When I still felt the pain
You were there to comfort me
When they called me insane

Whenever I've felt down
You've always made me come around
I hope you know now
That I'm trying to say 'Thank you' somehow

I'm thanking you
For all you've done
Even though I know
You are now gone
But I feel I must...
Thank you
