he is the disconnect, the cordon to my mis-aligned space a sprinkling of haste, the floaters inside my eyes I try to hold but cannot contain the moment when they strobe out into my mind. . . & stay a reminder of the restless air of offhand daydreams he offered me, slow motion, please as I accept the hint of heat, the curve of jaw. . . I breathe, I must grandeur distraction of lips & so they speak volumes of words unfurling rapture from monotony feverish bundle of barely breaking free from lashes closing softly on the scent of truth he is echoing. . . so, I hardly even know he's gone.

oh elle, this is simply beautiful. Especially this "he is echoing. . . so, I hardly even know he's gone." Oh, if that just doesn't speak volumes!! Once caught in attachment, the whole being has a damn hard time letting go, never mind the heart. You've described this so eloquently and perfectly. sigh sigh sigh
