They say knowing is half the battle
when in this case it's the end of the war.
Knowing that I can never conquer your desires
Knowing that I will never dictate your dreams
Knowing that I can never take control of your fantasies

For that war has already been won by another
I know this as I read your words
I know this when I look in your eyes
I know this because I'm not him.

What I have is the Noing
No! it will never happen
No! it can never be
No! I will not be he
No!
.
No, there never be a you and me
