Day by day, Hour by hour, Time slips away, Never again recaptured.
Searching deep and wide, Near and Far. Where has it fallen? Where is it mending?
I have played the game, Learning the rules as I go. Been hardened and softened, Still deliberating the path.
Missing and Lost Little pieces. Stains on pillows, Permanently interwoven.
But I have promises to keep And miles to go before I sleep.
