Lucy seemed to be a mild young child but inside her heart she was free and wild
Out in the rain on a cold winters day lucy would play
Among the snowtipped trees and cold wintery streams lucy was on her own she had no friends she was forever alone.
The sound of raindrops filled the air soaking little lucys hair she smiled and danced through the rain spinning little circles again and again
From the forest came a sound to wich little lucy did spin round in to the forest she did dance not a care for danger not a backward glance.
Little lucy followed the sound all the way underground.
A big dark cave is what lucy found she went inside without a care to do this only lucy would dare.
Little lucy followed the sound further underneath the ground further and further she did go whatever happend to little lucy no one dose know.
Little lucy was very lost indeed but for all the warning she recived she took no heed
Little lucy lay down at last cold and tierd she smiled and closed her eyes knowing at some point everyone dies
Dancing lights filled the cave as lucy danced upon her grave her body may not be alive but her soul still dances through the trees.
and if you listen carefully you may hear her laughter echoing through the summers breese

What a sad poem. Is this based on true events? A very good write.
Take care
Chris. |
