Down in the pond.
Springs the season of which Im most fond Its the best time of year down here in the pond - When the water turns green with lush wavy shoots And we go ahuntin among leaves and roots For juicy slugs and slimy snails And tasty worms with wriggly tails...
When the sun shines warm in the sky above A young frogs thoughts, they turn to love. Its such a delight on a moonlit night To sit on a stone and take in the sight Of long-legged beauties on their lily pads. Come up and see us sometime, lads!
Splish splash we go! And hoppity hop, Jumpity jump and boppity bop, Croakin all night to the jitterbug jive Rockin an rollin right through until five Groovin it with our amphibian blondes. Its where its all at down here in the pond.
