Im just too tired to write tonight
So I believe Ill call it quits.
Ill get into bed and pick up the book
That I read each night in bits.
Tomorrow Ill rise and get ready for work
But before I leave Ill write
A few lines of this and a line that
That I couldnt complete tonight.
Then, when I actually finish something
Therell be accolades and cheers.
I just pray to God, it doesnt take
Another fifty years.

I really like this write, especially the title.
I kindda doubt it being another 50 years.
You not only wrote a good poem but it was funny too. Luv your sense of hummer.

I can SO relate to this write!!!
Sometimes the urge is there, but the effort
is not. This explains it perfectly.
Good job and thanks for admitting that, as
it's nice to know I'm not alone. :)
