I welcome the dark,
Welcome it with open arms,
Will it accept me?

A single tear falls,
Yet I cannot stop laughing,
I cry at the moon.

In my mind it burns,
Memories of times gone by,
Yet I still can see.

When I close my eyes,
I see your face in the dark,
You still frighten me.

The night draws closer,
Screams of a madwoman echo,
I can't control it.

When the sun goes down,
The darkness plays with my mind,
Screams of the insane.
