whats it called
when she leaves you cold
standing in the rain
with no one to hold
whats it called
when she walks away
on a dirt road
where you first would say
i love you
whats it called
when she stands blankly
with no words to say
except ones that kill frankly
whats it called
when she steps on the bay
without your warmth beside
can you even say
i love you
whats it called
when she stops to hold you
standing in the rain
and you hold her too
whats it called
when she stands to face away
from a dirt road til you come
you would run to say
i love you
whats it called
when she stands strongly
and waits for you to say
you love her more wrongly
whats it called
when she walks the bay
with your hand interlocked
you turn to the sun to say
i love you
whats it called
when you stand
under a red moon
and grab her hand
you call that love
